How IT Experts handles personal information on this website and when you contact us. Last reviewed 2026-10-06.
01Our approach
IT Experts is a sub-brand of SAZ.ca, based in Vancouver, British Columbia. We design our website and our practices to follow the principles of Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and, where applicable, British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA). This policy describes what personal information we collect through this website and when you contact us, why we collect it and how we protect it.
This is a static website. It does not use user accounts, does not process payments and does not run web forms that send your data to third-party services. We designed it this way to minimise the personal information we handle.
02What we collect
Through the website itself, we do not set tracking cookies and we do not run third-party analytics or advertising scripts. Our hosting provider may generate standard technical logs, such as IP address, request time and requested page, for security and operational purposes. We do not use those logs to identify individual visitors.
When you choose to contact us by phone or email, we collect the information you provide, such as your name, organisation, contact details and the details of your enquiry. If you become a client, we collect further information necessary to deliver services, which is covered by the service agreement.
03How we use information
We use the information you give us to respond to your enquiry, prepare proposals, deliver services you have requested and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information. We do not use it for unrelated marketing without your consent, and we respect Canada's anti-spam legislation when sending commercial electronic messages.
We may share information with trusted service providers who help us operate, such as email and telephony providers, only to the extent necessary and subject to appropriate safeguards. Some providers may process data outside Canada; where that is the case we take reasonable steps to ensure comparable protection.
04Retention and security
We keep enquiry information only as long as needed to respond and to maintain a reasonable business record, and we delete or de-identify it when it is no longer required. Client records are retained according to the service agreement and legal requirements. We protect information with access controls, multi-factor authentication and encryption in transit.
No method of transmission is perfectly secure. If we become aware of a breach of security safeguards involving personal information that poses a real risk of significant harm, we will assess and report it as required by law.
05Your rights and how to contact us
You may ask to access the personal information we hold about you, request corrections or withdraw consent, subject to legal limits. To make a request, or to ask a question about this policy, email info@SAZ.ca or call (604) 632-4959. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia.
We may update this policy from time to time. The review date at the top of the page shows when it was last confirmed. This page provides general information and is not legal advice.
